Running out of time...

I don't know about you, but my To-Do list is piling up and I'm running out of time.

Freelance --> House work --> Holidays

If you are a freelancer (design, artist, copy writer, etc.), like me, work tends to come in waves. No work to over-worked... The funny thing is that this can happen within weeks or even days. I'm currently in a busy period and though I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for the work, I can't deny how tired I am. (Yes, I am playing my tiny, broken violin as you read this.)

Today I got to Hornall Anderson @ 6:00 am to catch up on a project. This means that my commute started at 4:20 this morning. As a result, I was awarded with this awesome button and bird made by Jessixa (awesome illustrator):


Needless to say that this little token of celebration helped me out TONS today. Thanks, Jessixa!

When I am stressed and tired I forget to stop, take a breath, and smile.
